Urgently Hiring Full Time. Pay $24 - $25 hourly. We have 4 Alternative schedules 4 days 10 hours. work hours are TH - M, 11:00am- 7:30pm.

Job Description:
Blades technicians are specially trained personnel who perform the blades changes in a safe and efficient matter. Safety is a top priority; safety policies are always to be followed.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Will set gap on sharpened blades. (install gapping bolts as needed).
- Remove gaping bolts from dull blades. (blades that have been removed from machinery).
- Maintain work area clean and organized. (will be tasked to clean the shop as needed including sweeping, moping, and disposing of trash).
- Remove dull blades from grinder/shedder and install new blades. (utilizing impact guns and hand tools).
- Follow LOTO and all safety procedures for the corresponding machinery being worked on.
- Clean work area around shedder/grinder before and after blade changes.
- Return dull blades to the shop.
- Support production when grinder/shredder issues are reported.
- Complete task as directed by management.
Blade technician will also be trained in the following:
- Blade sharpening and grinding.
- Basic maintenance practices and plant maintenance procedures.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High school/GED.
- 1-2 years relative maintenance experience working with Grinder/shredder Blades.
- LOTO knowledgeable.
- Forklift experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience installing sharpened blades on shredder/ grinder.
- Experience working with cordless and pneumatic impact guns.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Experience using feeler gauges and hand tools. (wrenches, ratchet, and drills).
Additional Notes:
Blade technicians will have the opportunity to train in other maintenance roles to allow for growth in the future. Roles are not limited but do require supervisor approval. Blade technician will report to the Plant Reliability Maintenance Manager.
Full Time Pays- $24 to $25 hourly.
